As an international freight forwarder, we are active worldwide in the following areas:
Sea freight
We are your global logistics partner for container shipments, both for full containers and consolidated containers. With specialised containers such as reefer, open top and flat rack, we offer flexible solutions.
On the import side, we offer shipments in consolidated containers from many countries in Asia, the USA and South America. We can handle your imports for you with our reliable network of agents in almost every country in the world and ensure on-time shipments and deliveries. Cross trade shipments on a neutral bill of lading with direct dispatch to your overseas customers are also part of our business.
On the export side, we offer ex-works acceptance for general cargo and full containers from all Western European countries with direct shipping via the most favourable port. In particular, we also offer groupage container shipments from Hamburg to around 200 harbour locations worldwide. We offer our own NVOCC service under the name „GCS Gallmeister Consolidation Service“. Our qualified warehousing partners handle the stowage of containers, even for the largest and most difficult packages.
Customs clearance is also one of the services we provide ourselves in Germany.
Air freight
We organise air freight shipments for imports and exports worldwide. Thanks to our reliable and worldwide network of agents, we can take care of your imports and guarantee punctual loading and delivery. We take care of electronic customs clearance at German airports. For exports, we take care of loading from the delivery plant in Western Europe with direct dispatch via the nearest airport. For important destinations, we also offer groupage shipments from German airports. Our services also include cost-effective door-to-door transport insurance cover for every air freight consignment.
Rail transport from/to China
We arrange your shipments quickly and with low emissions in full containers or as groupage shipments by rail on the Silk Road to and from China. Thanks to the high-speed trains, the transit time is only 12-14 days. The transport of heavy goods in particular is predestined for the railway. From Hamburg and Duisburg, we organise shipments to and from China.
Land transport
In addition to transport, we offer comprehensive warehousing services.
Storage/handling
Project business
We coordinate the precise picking and packing of goods in line with deadlines with suppliers, warehouses, quay operators, authorities, shipping companies and recipients. Securing cargo space, organising pre- and on-carriage, and expertise in shipping unusually sized goods are essential. Our experience and local partnerships guarantee optimal shipping and transport options.
We are regularly requested for heavy lift shipments and project shipments. Our integrated transport solutions for bulky and heavy goods by sea, air and land are based on house-to-house services. In all cases, we offer cost-effective door-to-door transport insurance, especially for challenging shipments.
Customs - Clearance
For imports, we are happy to take care of customs clearance for free circulation or forward your goods in transit to third countries.
On the export side, we can, if necessary, prepare the export documents and take care of export customs clearance at the port of departure or at the airport.
Transport insurance
Our services also include cost-effective door-to-door transport insurance cover for every transport.
